Modeling Inertial Sensors Errors Using Allan Variance
It is well known that Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) can provide high accuracy information on the position, velocity, and attitude over a short time period. However, their accuracy degrades rapidly with time. The requirements for accurate estimation of navigation information necessitate the modeling of the sensors' noise components. Several methods have been devised for stochastic modeling o...
A wavelet-based bootstrap method applied to inertial sensor stochastic error modelling using the Allan variance
A wavelet-based bootstrap method is proposed to generate surrogate data from inertial sensor noise time series and to construct bootstrap-based confidence intervals of selected parameters which are used to characterize their noise performance. The Allan variance, its links with wavelets and the whitening action of wavelet decompositions applied to long-memory stochastic processes are considered...

Spectral ambiguity of Allan variance
The phase-noise spectrum determines the Allan variance by a well-known integral formula. It is shown here that unique inversion of this formula is not possible in general because the mapping from spectrum to Allan variance is not one-to-one. A necessary and sufficient condition for two distinct phase spectra to have the same Allan variance is given.
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
